This patch is for the CVS version of Samba-TNG. It was built on February 25th, 2003. It will most likely work on many versions in the future, however TNG is under heavy development, and can change rapidly. We've included a February 25th Snapshot of CVS as well. We will try and keep it updated as actual releases of TNG are announced.

The point of this patch, is to add a new switch to the "nmblookup" utility, to let you run "nmblookup -X 192.168.0.1" and have it determine if the host is a PDC, BDC, or neither. This can be quite useful for scripting, and quickly finding PDC/BDC hosts from Unix. This has been compiled and tested on Linux, however should compile and work anywhere that Samba does.

If you choose to download the CVS snapshot, the patch is ALREADY APPLIED. You need to do nothing more than "./autogen.sh ; ./configure ; make ; make install" (or replace ; with && if you actually care if it fails :P)
